Whe n an accurate mea
sur
ement is needed, a frequency counter shall be
used.
If
you have the frequency cou nter connected to the CH I
OUT
PUT
connector [20] on the rear panel
of
the oscilloscpe, you will enjoy the
convenience
and
advantage to perform both the waveform observing
and
frequency measurement simultaneously. However, w
hen
a frequency counter
is not available, the oscilloscope can directly measure the
modulat
ed
wavef
orm
that
can
hardly be measured by
means
of
a frequency counter,
or
the waveform bearing a lot
of
noise.
Frequ
ency is interrelated to the
period. First of all, in brief, you can simply
obtain
the frequency by
calculating with I/t as
suming
that
you' have already known the period t
appearing in section 2-3-2
